Rosewall Signs is owned and operated by Jeannette Koch. She studied commercial art while in high school and sign making at the BC Institute of Technology. Jeannette established JB Signs in Steveston, BC, in 1987. She relocated to Port Hardy, BC, in 1988, worked in local sign shops, and then established Harbour Signs in 1991. Harbour Signs is still in operation under Jeannette's ownership.

In June 2004, Jeannette acquired Rosewall Signs of Courtenay, BC, from its retiring owners and continued the strong service traditions established at that location ten years previously.

Jeannette is assisted at Rosewall Signs by her son, Gerry Chartrand. Gerry is a very talented artist, having worked with sandblasting and other artistic media in his early years in Sudbury, Ontario, and in Port Hardy. At Rosewall Signs, Gerry provides services in wood sign blank manufacture, wood sign refinishing, sandblasting, airbrushing, screen printing, design and artistic effects.
